Xylitol is a natural sweetener extracted from fruit (plums, for example) as well as corn. It is non-toxic and is the only sweetener in Supersmile’s Whitening Gum.

Expecting mothers: give your baby something to smile about even before birth. Recent studies prove xylitol may be beneficial on pediatric oral health. A controlled experiment analyzed the dental health of children born to mothers who chewed xylitol gum during their first 6 months of pregnancy, each day until their babies reached 9 months of age. Comparing these results to children born to mothers who did not chew xylitol during this 15-month period, researchers found that babies born to mothers who chew xylitol gum are far less likely to produce streptococcus mutans—the main cavity-causing bacteria.

As research reveals (and expert dentists recommend) a solid pediatric oral care routine should begin at a young age. Around 2 years old is standard to set the stage for your child, ensuring a lifetime of positive dental hygienic practice.  This is a long and difficult process.

Why not begin the process earlier? Ensuring your little one isn’t predisposed to dental caries can be as easy as chewing Supersmile’s Advanced Professional Whitening Gum…whose main ingredient and only sweetener is xylitol!

Chewing gum containing xylitol will make training your children to brush, rinse and floss much easier—by safeguarding your children from cavities early on. Now it’s possible to whiten your teeth and prevent dental cavities in your baby’s mouth as well as your own—at the same time!

(Oh, and did we mention it tastes great too?)
